Last Monday, my dear friend Carolyn Foote and I had the honor of presenting virtually together in the TL Virtual Cafe about a topic we are both passionate about.
You can find the archive and chat archive on the reThinking Library page on the TL Virtual Cafe wiki.
This morning I watched the webinar recording again and really loved everything that Carolyn and all of the participants shared. It is so much fun seeing and hearing ideas about library design.
And thank you Tiffany Whitehead for moderating the webinar....You are the best. :)
As our school renovation gets under way at Van Meter, I get more and more excited every day thinking about the new library this will bring to our school community. To be able to collect and share ideas with all of you makes this process even more rewarding and fun.
You can read all about our new library in the School Library Journal article, The Heart Of The School...Iowa's Van Meter District Plans Library Expansion.
We created this Padlet, reThinking Library for everyone to share their libraries, inspirations, and ideas. This space is still growing....Please add to it as well.
Our amazing friend Joyce Valenza also shared our webinar on her School Library Journal blog, NeverEnding Search. Thank you Joyce for the post....Rethinking Library With Carolyn and Shannon.
And don't forget to check out the TL Virtual Cafe wiki for so many other wonderful webinars from our TL Tribe including the next on....
April 7th at 8:00pm EST....
Libraries and the 1:1 School....Final Nail In The Library Coffin? presented by Shelia Glasscock, Nikki D. Robertson, Holly Sutherland, and Marnie Utz...moderated by Matthew Winner.
We hope to see you all there. There is always something from everyone at the TL Virtual Cafe.
