The coolest new island has shown up in Aqua! It called Dot Day Dock and it's here in time for International Dot Day that we all celebrate on September 15'ish.
In partnership with the amazing author, Peter H. Reynolds, this special Dot Day space is now inside of Aqua where students can make their mark in all kinds of creative ways to celebrate.
When students click on Dot Day Dock in Aqua,
it opens up to several Dot Day Activity Sheets for our students to choose from.
They can then use all of the different tools in Aqua to create with on the Dot Day Activity Sheet they choose. I love that under the painting brush there is a swirl of orange that looks like the Dot that Vashti created in The Dot.
The Dot Day Activity Sheets can be downloaded, printed, and used in so many different ways. They can line the hallways for a Dot Day Gallery. They can be added to your Dot Day bulletin boards and displays. They can be used as illustrated pages for a book they will write. They can be turned into Dot Day Celebration cards and passed out to the school and community. And they can be something students take home to always remember how they make their mark on the world.
All of this can be found on Aqua by Adobe. This wonderful FREE app is loved by our students, teachers, and families. Dot Day Dock is just one place students can go in Aqua. You just have to go to Aqua and take a trip around the different islands for a bit.
