Sister wants to play. Rain, rain, go away.
My little friend Hadley was singing this in Iowa today as she wanted to go outside to play with her baby sister. Rain, Rain, Go Away from Cantata Learning was the perfect book and song to pull out as she celebrated the rain and found fun in the rain.
And it just happens to be the very special Cantata Learning Song of the Week!
Each week we celebrate one new song to share with all of you so today I was very excited to hear from my friends Kellie and Hadley as they shared it on....
Kellie's blog House of Gingers too. You just have to read her post!
She shares how much her family and students love the Cantata Learning books and songs....not to mention the beautiful illustrations in each one.
Every one is also available to listen to and download free from the Cantata website. You can get to Rain, Rain, Go Away here.
As Kellie says in her post, there are three Guided Reading Activities that you will find in the back of each Cantata Learning book. We also have these wonderful lesson plans that are tied to music, technology and language arts. This week we published Rain, Rain Go Away.
You can find it online here to download in color or black and white.
It just started raining at our house in Denver, so Hagan and I played...
and sang Rain, Rain, Go Away while we looked at the book.
We hope you had fun celebrating the weather this week at your house by....
singing and reading this book too. You can find it here on the Cantata Learning website.
