I love learning new things in the summer, especially this time of year as we start thinking about going back to school.
I have something to share with all of you as you learn this summer too.
It's called The Achievery and it is from our friends at AT&T.
The Achievery is a FREE digital learning platform that brings engaging and entertaining content, paired with amazing learning activities, to all K-12 learners and teachers, anywhere learning takes place.
The Achievery is created by AT&T in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery, The Achievery helps connect students to a new world of digital learning through stories that spark curiosity and learning content that entertains as well as teaches. The platform features clips from some of the most popular, well-loved movies, TV shows and cartoons from Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network, paired with lessons and learning activities that students can engage with everywhere they are – at home, in the community and in the classroom.
Here are a few of the cool things about The Achievery:
You will find videos and lessons from partners like Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, Code.org, Scratch, Boodle, Common Sense Media and so many more.
There are lesson plans and videos for ALL subjects and grade levels. They even include Technology and Engineering, SEL and Digital Literacy.
It is super easy to search by standards, age, topic, media type, and other criteria. This is such a helpful feature for all educators as we find the perfect lessons that fit with our curriculum and students.
Every time I open up The Achievery, I find even more amazing lessons from the collaborators.
I love how they feature new learning activities. It is always exciting to see these.
And something that I noticed today, they added new activities students can do on their own.
As you can see, there is something for everyone at The Achievery. Over the next several weeks, I will be sharing more about this amazing resource and ways to use it with your students as we get ready for a new school year.
The Achievery is FREE for all educators, students and families. You can sign up at futureready.link/achievery today.
