Our 2nd Graders Shared Their Stories & Research Of Martin Luther King Jr. In PebbleGo Create This Week.

This week, as we honored Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our students read, learned, discussed and created.
I put together the Let's Learn About Martin Luther King Jr. Choice Board, so our students and teachers had a place to find important and inspirational information and activities.

As I visited the classrooms throughout the week, I loved seeing what they were working on to remember Martin Luther King and the importance of this day.
I walked into Megan Warwick's 2nd grade classroom and loved what they were creating in PebbleGo Create.
Through their research in PebbleGo, the Capstone Interactive eBooks and other online resources,
our students were learning so much about MLK and the importance of his life and impact he had on history.
Th
The 2nd graders were telling the importance of this day using PebbleGo Create and these stories were so wonderful.

Take a look at their creations...
I love how they found stickers, backgrounds and animations to add to their canvas, in addition to the text, voice and video they added to tell Martin Luther King Jr's story too.

And I love this project as it demonstrates the power of kids and the talents they have to show what they know and to celebrate their voice through technology.  I can't wait to see what our 2nd graders do next!
