BOOK PICK Posters For Recommending Books To Our Readers! Find The Template & Other Ideas Here, Friends.

One of the best parts of being a teacher librarian is finding ways to promote books and reading to our readers in so many engaging, interactive and fun ways.

I love being able to share books that I love with our students and teachers in the library, classrooms and even online on our library Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
A few years ago, I started making these Look What I'm Reading! Bitmoji Posters and had fun over the summer putting them together for my summer reading too. You can read all about it on my blog here.
In addition to our Look What I'm Reading! Bitmoji Posters, my amazing new library assistant, Natasha, came up with another fun idea to promote and encourage our readers.

They are BOOK PICKS posters!
Natasha picked up a new bulletin board for behind the circulation desk where she will hang her poster and fill it up with book covers of her book picks.
And I will will hang up my poster on the bulletin board by my work space to share book picks too.

I made the image above in Canva and will share this virtual version of my monthly book picks in our Library Google Classroom each month.  Our readers will be able to see our book picks in the library and online.
We keep this little project organized by adding our book picks to a Google Slide presentation each month. You can see mine for this month above.

When we print the slide, they turn out to be the perfect size for our displays.
If you want to make your own BOOK PICK posters, you will find the Canva Template here, friends.
