Last year, we kicked off a new little library checkout program with our preschoolers. We will be using our Cantata Learning books to start.
Cantata Learning are the perfect fit for our youngest learners as every book is paired with music. We have a big collection of Cantata Learning in our library so they will have a lot of different ones to choose from.
We made Library Book Bags for the preschoolers to use as they check out their book and take it home. These are 2 gallon Ziploc bags to give lots of room for the book.
I created a label, printed it in color, laminated it and stapled to the top of the Ziploc bag. There is a place for us to write each students name too.
I made the label in Canva. I included a bit about the Cantata Learning books while encouraging families to read the books together.
You can find the template in Canva here if you want to change it up and use.
We also have lots of Cantata Learning eBooks in our Capstone Interactive, so I made a choice board with 12 of these eBooks to share with the library bags.
I included a picture of the choice board, a QR code and bit.ly to the choice board.
You will find this Canva template in the link I shared above.
To go along with the new library bags, I added this special flyer from Capstone sharing the importance of reading aloud with your child. You can find it here.
Our preschoolers loved picking out a Cantata Learning book...
...in the library today.
And they were so happy to be bringing them home!
You will find all of the Cantata Learning books and eBooks here on the Capstone site, friends.
