Join Us For The Upcoming NEW Follett Webinar, 10 Ways To Inspire and Engage Your Readers and Learners All Summer Long!

As we get into the last few months of the school year, we, as librarians, teachers and administrators, are thinking about what we can do to keep our readers and learners inspired and engaged over the summer months.  We are also thinking of ideas and resources we can share with caregivers too.

On May 4, 2022 at 4:00pm CST, I have an exciting NEW Follett Community webinar that will help with this.  It is called 10 Ways To Inspire Your Readers and Learners All Summer Long!

As shared on Follett Community,

With summer right around the corner, we are all thinking of ways to stay connected and continue to inspire our readers and learners. For Shannon McClintock Miller, as the district teacher librarian at Van Meter Community School working with preschool to Grade 12, many ideas pop into her head as she works with teachers and families to make summer reading plans.

In this webinar, Shannon will share 10 ways to inspire your readers and learners all summer long. You won’t want to miss this one, as she shares activities and resources for all to read, learn, create, explore and, of course, have fun throughout the summer months.

It will give you what you need to stay connected throughout the summer!

Attendees will:

  • Discover the impact that summer reading and learning have on students.
  • Get 10 ideas to inspire readers and learners all summer long.
  • Explore new and engaging ways to connect students to reading.
  • Understand how librarians can access their school's digital content from Follett Destiny Discover®.
  • Get handy summer reading resources on Titlewave®
  • Learn how to take these ideas into the next school year.

I am really looking forward to sharing with all of you and hope you can join us for this hour of fun!

You can register for the free webinar And don't worry, we will share the recording and resources with all who register too.
