Our friends at Capstone have added a very special new option to PebbleGo.
It is called Read More and it is something amazing that our students, teachers and families are going to love!
As the site states, Read More is a brand new option just released to add to your existing PebbleGo subscription that provides two read-aloud Capstone eBooks connected to each article in both PebbleGo Animals and PebbleGo Science.
The PebbleGo Read More feature will encourage personalized learning and promote second-source checks with the two read-aloud eBooks. And just look at all of the other ways Read More will help all students as they read, listen and learn within PebbleGo Animals and Science.
Let me show you how Read More works!
When you are sharing this new feature, go to either PebbleGo Animals or Science and choose any article.
In Animals, I went to Appaloosa Horses and clicked on the new Read More tab at the top.
The Read More tab showed two articles and two books (eBooks). When I clicked on Horses View,
it showed the Read More window for that book which includes a Description.
Citation,
and Information from the buttons on the bottom.
When the Play Book button is clicked,
the book opens up in the Read More platform, similar to Capstone Interactive where students can read and listen to the books. And remember, every Capstone eBook has live voice audio and many special features that make them an incredible asset to all readers.
When they have finished the book, they will close the window and can go to the other book included in that specific article.
As I took a look around other PebbleGo Animals and Science articles, I was happy to see all of the books included in the Tyrannosaurus Rex article,
Comic Making article,
Food Chains and Webs article and so many more.
All of books in this wonderful add on feature are going to make a huge difference for our children as they learn about hundreds of different topics at a deeper level; for our teachers as they have an easy and effective way to tie quality resources into topics they are focusing on within the curriculum; and for families as they support their children in exploring topics they are passionate and interested about at home in PebbleGo.
I can't wait to show everyone this week at my school.
