As we work with our students and families online now, we needed a digital screencasting tool that would help us with our needs in online learning and teaching.
We turned to Screencastify, a digital screen recording tool that I have used for different projects and needs.
The wonderful people at Screencastify are helping and supporting our communities in a variety of ways during this time.
You will find how to receive free access to their suite of products and other terrific resources here.
As I shared the news of upgraded Screencastify with our district, I made a little tutorial using Screencastify. I love how there is a suite of drawing tools in the left hand corner; how you can turn on the webcam when recording your screen; and how easy it is to share in Google Classroom, through a link and in other places.
And here is a collection of E-Learning Resources from Screencastify...
...that are super helpful to all of us.
I am excited for our teachers to use Screencastify for all kinds of things over the next several weeks. I can't wait to hear how you are using it within your remote learning experiences too.
You can find the information in this post here.
