One of my favorite events every year is the annual ISTE Conference. This year, they are reinventing this amazing conference by making it virtual with ISTE20 LIVE on November 29-December 5, 2020.
When I first started coming to the ISTE Conference several years ago, I knew that I had found my people, as so many wonderful librarians, educators, publishers, technology companies and others came together to learn, collaborate, create and dream from places around the country. Being involved with ISTE, as a attendee, member, presenter and even as an ISTE author, has filled me with such important knowledge, confidence and ideas. I have brought this back to my district and library, and ISTE definitely has helped shape me into the educator and librarian I am today.
With ISTE 2020 being virtual this year, there are many new things to be excited about and one of the best parts if that so many of us get to be part of this virtual event. And as librarians, there are tons of great presentations to be part of during the conference.
Take a look at a few around libraries and Future Ready Librarians® that I found on the schedule at the conference website.
I also have the honor of presenting two times, with two amazing friends...one with Bill Bass (session information found here) and..
...one with Mark Ray (session information found here).
As you can see there is going to be such awesome learning and networking opportunities for us, as Future Ready Librarians and educators, and I would LOVE for you to be part of ISTE20 LIVE too.
To make this happen, I have partnered with the wonderful people at ISTE to offer one person FREE registration for the entire ISTE20 LIVE event from November 29 to December 5.
To enter the contest, you must "like" this post in the Future Ready Librarian Facebook page and tell me why you would like to attend ISTE20 LIVE.
And please note...
The contest is open to legal residents of their respective countries where not prohibited by law, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. This is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook. By entering, entrants release Facebook of responsibility and agree to Facebook's term of use. No purchase necessary to participate.
I hope that you join us for ISTE20 LIVE coming up in just a few weeks. As I mentioned in this post, this event and the connections I have made during ISTE events, are some of the most important connections, learning opportunities and friendships I have made over the last 12 years.
