Book fairs are taking over the libraries. Grades are due and conferences are here. We are getting ready for the holidays. With this the children we are with everyday are excited for all of these events and changes too.
Just remember....You are doing GOOD every single day. You and your students are making a difference.
Because of this, I have something very exciting to share.
It is a special contest to celebrate all of the good things you do as teacher librarians and educators to bring a sense of community to your classrooms and libraries.
By helping others in the community through volunteering and fundraising, students learn how important it is to be a good citizen. It brings a sense of calm and love during this busy time of the year.
Now you and your students can be recognized for helping in the community, with the How I Help My Community Contest.
We want to showcase your community by coming up with a way to volunteer or fundraise for something that will make a difference in the lives of others.
You can read about the project here and...
when you are ready, please submit your community service project to this link.
We want to celebrate these special projects by giving three classrooms 25 Cantata Learning books too!
I can't wait to see what you and your students do to show off all the GOOD coming from your libraries and classrooms.
This is for YOU and your students, teachers! Thank you for all the good that you do!
