author of I Am Every Good Thing and other amazing books.  You can learn more about Derrick and his work on his website found here.

He’ll discuss the inspiration and backstory of some of his most beloved books for young people, including I am Every Good Thing and Ruby and the Booker Boys series. Recommend Age Range: 6+.
