Join Us For Two Upcoming Future Ready Librarian Summits As We Imagine The New Future For Future Ready Librarians!

On March 6 and 13, 2021, Mark Ray and I will be hosting two brand new Future Ready Librarian® Summits.

We are excited to share the theme, Imagining the New Future For Future Ready Librarians.

The Future Ready Librarians® summits are FREE, live, virtual, interactive, high-quality professional learning experiences for librarians interested in learning, growing, and expanding their professional practice through collaboration and networking with like-minded colleagues from across the country. Recognizing the profound shifts in learning and teaching occurring in real time, this interactive online event will help librarians ground their practice in the research-based Future Ready Librarians® Framework and define new ways in which they can lead, teach, and support learning in their schools.

Leveraging the active Future Ready Librarians® community, the live summits are designed around authentic problems of practice identified by librarians. The 2021 winter/spring summit will focus on reimagining roles and leadership for Future Ready Librarians®.

The essential questions are:

  • What have librarians learned about their students, colleagues, and communities as a result of remote and hybrid learning?
  • In what ways might learning and libraries look different in the future?
  • What new opportunities exist for librarians to lead, teach, and support students and colleagues?
  • What are some models of success?

We strongly encourage participants to complete Using the Future Ready Librarians® Self-Reflection Challenge, which includes taking the self-reflection. While this is not required to participate in the summit, the survey will help you prepare for the conversations during the summit.

This is a LIVE event and sessions will not be recorded.

Due to the interactive agenda, this micro summit is limited to the first 500 participants, so sign up here for this free event today.  We can't wait, friends.
