Join Us As We Talk Global Collaboration In The #MSFTEduChat TweetMeet On October 16th!

TweetMeet Central has announced a very special event coming up on Tuesday, October 16 and I am honored to be one of 22 hosts from around the world.  

On the 16, please join us for the #MSFTEduChat TweetMeet as we discuss global collaboration including...

...the Skype-a-Thon coming up on November 13-14, 2018.  It will take place through 15 simultaneous language tracks so everyone around the world can be part of this lively and engaging conversation.

I can't wait to talk about the Skype-a-Thon and other ways we have been connecting at our school, Van Meter Community School in Iowa like today....

...when our 2nd graders kicked off their new PBL Project with John Colaneri from the HGTV show The Cousins he hosts with his cousin Anthony.  John not only read their wonderful new picture book, What Can You Do With A Toolbox, he announced the six jobs our students will be applying for as they get ready to build their own homes!  

Everyday we are making and looking for new connections and opportunities for our students. I can't wait to be inspired by others during #MSFTEduChat.
