As LitWorld shares on their site...
World Read Aloud Day motivates children, teens, and adults worldwide to celebrate the power of words and creates a community of readers taking action to show the world that the right to literacy belongs to all people. World Read Aloud Day is celebrated by millions of people in more than 100 countries thanks to people like you who participate and spread the word across the globe!
I have participated in World Read Aloud Day for several years now. In fact, my friends Matthew Winner, Andy Plemmons and I always make a Google Document for everyone to collaborate in for WRAD too. We will make sure to share one again closer to the date.
In 2018, WRAD is going to be on February 8. Even though we have several months until that day, LitWorld has open the registration for World Read Aloud Day 2018.
You will find the registration form here. By registering now, you will be on the list to receive the updates and information about WRAD 2018.
There is also a map on the bottom of the form page to show you were others are signing up and getting involved around the world.
I hope you are all part of World Read Aloud Day in 2018. It is such a special way to celebrate reading and a wonderful step in changing the world.
