On August 26, the next Buncee Buddies project is kicking off!
This year it is called Buncee Buddies: Celebrate Peace 2016!
As the post on the Buncee blog states,This project aspires to connect classrooms from around the world, to explore how they can created the U.N.'s International Day of Peace, all year long.
Students and teachers worldwide can create Buncees responding to these prompts and share them with their "Buncee Buddies," and even meet their Buddies via video chat to discuss.
This year the Buncee Buddie projects will address the four pillars of global competence listed above.
These are tied into the Celebrate Peace 2016 Prompt as well.
On August 26, Buncee Buddies will open up for everyone to register. It will run until September 26.
You will follow the steps above after signing up here.
As you work on the Buncee Buddies projects with your students, here are a few wonderful collaborative ideas to get you started.
When we participated in the first Buncee Buddies project two years ago, we had the best time coming together on Skype to meet, collaborate and share our projects.
You can read all about this connection here.
They have also brought together a list of important Buncee Resources. These will be very helpful too.
I can't wait to see the messages all of the Buncee Buddies share this year in their creations and messages.
They are definitely going to make a difference in the world.
