On Monday evening I spent a hour with several of my favorite maker friends for a very special edition of TL Virtual Cafe.
Diana Maliszewski, my new friend from Canada, and I were the hosts for April and we planned for it to be focused around Makerspaces. There are so many of us doing amazing Makerspaces in our libraries and schools, Diana and I thought it would be fun to turn it into a Show & Tell type show inviting six of our wonderful friends to join us. It turned out to be one of my favorite shows yet!
You can go to the TL Virtual Cafe page for our show....Stories From Our Makerspaces to find the Blackboard Webinar Archive and the Text Archive, the conversation going on throughout the show.
We also embedded our Google Slides presentation at the bottom of the page. Please feel free to share it too.
The Makerspace movement is one of the most exciting things that is happening in our libraries, schools, and throughout education. It is making a difference for our young people....and one that is bringing lots of excitement, creativity, and learning to our spaces too.
Enjoy these stories....and we can't wait to hear yours too!
