Check Out The 2026 Spring Book Preview From Our Friends At Capstone!

One of my favorite things about being a reader and teacher librarian is learning about and reading upcoming books.

Our friends at Capstone have announced the upcoming 2026 Spring Books and I couldn't be more excited to see all of these upcoming titles.
As Capstone shared on the site,

Celebrate the joy of storytelling and fresh beginnings with Capstone’s Spring 2026 collection! This season brings new adventures and heartfelt lessons for every young reader. Step into the lively world of Extraordinary Eliana, a vibrant spin-off of the beloved Astrid and Apollo series, where spirited first-grader Eliana learns that being “too small” doesn’t mean she can’t make a big difference. Then join best-selling creator Katy Hudson in Just Like Rabbit, a tender tale of friendship and self-discovery reminding readers that being yourself is the bravest thing of all.

Rounding out our spring lineup are new installments in the epic battle between Cute vs. Gross with plenty of aww’s and eww’s—always a great way to hook readers, especially reluctant ones—plus timely nonfiction titles marking two major global moments: the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the World Cup hosted in North America. We’re also thrilled to introduce the Capstone Value Library, an exciting new line of high-quality nonfiction designed to stretch library budgets without sacrificing quality.

This season’s books celebrate discovery and connection—hallmarks of Capstone storytelling that continue to inspire young readers everywhere. Take a sneak peek at highlights from Capstone’s Spring 2026 titles before they make their big debut!

I can't wait for all of these new Capstone books to be on our shelves for our readers. I know you will love them too.
