There are so many special holidays and events this month that are focused around Presidents. We have Presidents' Day, George Washington's Birthday, and Abraham Lincoln's Birthday. This is a great time to not only learn about these, but all things about Presidents.
As I get things ready to share with our teachers and students like our monthly choice boards and a Presidents' Day choice board, I went to PebbleGo.
There is a great category in PebbleGo Biographies called Presidents and First Ladies. Also, on the PebbleGo site, our friends at Capstone have created dozens of ways to simplify lesson planning with their Ready-to-use Activities.
Discover hundreds of activities tailored to extend learning and simplify lesson planning. Organized by PebbleGo modules—including options in Spanish for K-2—these resources offer everything from quick, engaging tasks to multi-week lesson plans. Explore activities like magnetic forces, superheroes with special powers, health careers, class rules, and a winter scavenger hunt—just a glimpse of the many creative activities available.
Here are a few that I found to share with my teachers. These would be great in the classroom, and in the library too.
You will find these, and so many others around all kinds of subjects and topics, here.
