Dot Day is right around the corner and we are in full swing celebrating at our school.
The kids have been reading and listening to The Dot, sharing how they will make their mark on the world and creating lots of beautiful dots to hang in the collaborative school-wide hallway display.
I also created this special Dot Day choice board for students, teachers and families to go anytime, at school and at home, to participate in several other Dot Day activities.
They can learn how to draw along with Peter, sing The Dot Song with Emily Arrow, make a mural with homemade sidewalk chalk, create an amazing Buncee showing how they'll make their mark on the world and more.
Each image is linked to the site or activity.
At the top of the choice board, you will find a link to the LIVE event with Peter Reynolds that Skype in the Classroom is hosting on September 16 at 10:00am PST. You will find the link to join here too.
And at the bottom, there is a link to the Dot Day Collections by Destiny that you will find here.
Please feel free to share this with your students and school community. You will find the published link here and the editable link here.
Happy Dot Day, friends. Let's make our mark on the world!
And if you are looking to make connections with others around the world, please visit this post for the Google Doc to find those connections.
Let's make this the BEST Dot Day yet, friends!
