As we get ready to celebrate Read Across America the week of March 1-5, 2021, I have been planning 5 days of reading fun for our students, teachers and school communities.
For the week, our theme is going to be....Celebrate Reading Is For Everyone! On each day, we will celebrate what makes our readers and reading special and unique.
To make it extra fun, each day will include an activity for kids such as Dress is your favorite outfit...What makes you YOU!
I am working on the Celebrate Reading Is For Everyone Choice Board that will include a slide for each day with 10 FREE eBooks for everyone to use and share with all readers learning at school and virtually, along with a few activities for each day. The 50 books will be available from February 21 to March 6, 2021.
I just wanted to share today to get you thinking about how you can celebrate and what books you have in your collection that will tie into this special 5 days of reading celebrations.
