We have a very exciting new Harmony Project activity from Cantata Learning to share with all of you!
If you remember from my first blog post about Harmony Projects, Global Connections With Cantata Learning, these are wonderful ways to get your students reading, creating, writing, singing, sharing, collaborating, and so much more with others around the world.
We currently have the Celebrations Around the World Project going on and in December we finished our first Winter Around the World Project.
And this week we are excited to announce our third Harmony Global Project that we will kick off on April 4.... the Rhythms and Rhymes Harmony Project!
To get ready for Rhythms and Rhymes we have a special contest to share with all of you.
It is called the Rhythms and Rhymes Contest and it is your chance to win 30 Cantata Learning books for your school or library. We are asking you and your students to show us the motions that accompany traditional nursery rhymes and folk songs.
All you have to do is pick one from the Cantata Music Library, create a video that shows your students' hand motions (which can be traditional hand motions for the song or new ones that you and the students create), and submit your video to Cantata Learning by April 1.
It is that easy....And so much fun!
You can visit the Rhythms and Rhymes Global Activity page to read all about it. And when your video is read, submit it here.
We can't wait to see what you and your students share.
