Our 11 Holiday Choice Boards Collection Is Here, Friends!

                  

As we celebrate the special holidays around the world, we brought together Our Holiday Choice Boards Collection that includes books, articles, digital games, songs, art and crafts, technology and more. 

On this front or home slide, you will see all eleven of the Holiday Choice Boards. 

At the top of each, there is a little house that you click on to take you to the front or home slide.

In the right hand corner, you will also find a button that says Click here for fun ideas to share how you celebrate.  

Our students can Use the ideas below to share how you celebrate the holidays by drawing a picture or creating a story with art materials or Buncee, and by visiting the 12 Days of Making Choice Board Collection.

All of the Capstone Interactive eBooks, PebbleGo articles and PebbleGo Next articles are linked and free for everyone to use during the holiday seasons. 

You will find Our Holiday Choice Board Collection here on the new Capstone site, Shannon Miller's Choice Boards.  This is the link you can share with your students too.

The 25 Days Of Digital Tools and Ideas From Future Ready Librarians Kicks Off Today With Biblionasium For Day 1!

It's December 1st and time for a very special month of learning and collaborating together as we kick off The 25 Days of Digital Tools and Ideas from Future Ready Librarians. 

This special 25 day event goes along with the special Future Ready Librarian webinar we hosted in November.  

For the first 25 days in December, I will be sharing 25 digital tools, along with ideas and resources to go with each, all shared by wonderful Future Ready Librarians from around the country. 

As shared on the note card, Click on the card that goes with each day in December to find a digital tool, idea and video. 

Let's give it a try!

I am the first one to kick off the fun by sharing Biblionasium.  On each day, we will be sharing the app description, uses as a Future Ready Librarian and Ideas for Using With Students. There will be pictures of ideas and lots of links to be shared each day.  Also, a place to sign up for that digital tool. 

You will find the 2-minute video clips from our Future Ready Librarian webinar in November on the second slide each day.

As you learn along, we would love to hear how you use or would use each digital tool.  Feel free to add to the post in the Future Ready Librarian Facebook page or on Twitter or Instagram using #FutureReadyLibs or #FutureReady.

Last year, I used each day to learn more about the digital tool being shared that day.  It was also fun to try them out myself and with our students and teachers.  I can't wait to do the same thing this December too.
