NEW ISTE and ALA Conference Collections For All Of Us To Curate and Share!

As we get ready for the ALA Annual and ISTE Conferences next week, we are thinking about and planning for all of the wonderful resources which will be shared, created and celebrated throughout each event.

When I go to ALA and ISTE, I save events in a Google Doc, share and save using Twitter and write notes in my program guides.  I know that all of you have your own way of saving and curating things as well.

This year I am going to use Collections by Destiny.  In fact, I already created a Collection for each conference to start saving things before they even start.

I made the two Collections public and open so all of us can add resources as we collaborate and share.  Together, we can make these Collections awesome archives of the learning, collaborating and sharing that takes place this year during ISTE and ALA.
You will find Our 2018 ISTE Collection here,  You can share using bit.ly/ISTE18collectionbydestiny too.
You will find Our 2018 ALA Collection here.  You can share using bit.ly/ALA18collectionbydestiny too.

Let me know if you have any questions.  I can't wait to see what everyone shares.  Please feel free to add your presentations, events and other resources.

And for those of you who are #NotAtISTE or #NotAtALAAC, please follow and add too.

Unicorn Books For Magical, Fun and Special Read Alouds

My book purchases of the weekend included two of my new favorites by Ame Dyckman, another one of my all-time favorites!

I can't wait to use Misunderstood Shark with lots of other shark books, projects and connections during Shark Week in July and this fall. You can read more about these ideas here in this post from my blog.

As for the other book, You Don't Want A Unicorn, it is one of the funniest, happiest, most magical books!  And for sure one of the best read aloud books ever!

In fact, I find all books about unicorns magical and there are so many wonderful ones out there to share with your readers.
I have brought together a Padlet full of unicorn books and room to add lots more.  You will find it here.

What are your favorite unicorn books, friends?  Please share them on the Padlet too.
