On Monday and Tuesday, our related arts team (art, guidance, library and music) are going to come together for all of the kindergarten through 5th grade related arts times to do a special project focused around gratitude. This is the second time we have came together for a collaborative project this year.

After we share Todd Parr's book, all of the students will be creating a little gratitude box with our art teacher and guidance counselor.
Jessica, Brianne, our music teacher, and I will be doing a couple activities with the kids.
With our new Merge goggles here, we will be trying out the Turkey Mask from Quiver. They will love coloring this and then trying it out with the VR googles. We can't wait to see what they create.
They will also be adding to the Sharing Our Thankfulness Flipgrid. As they think about what they are thankful for, everyone will share on the Flipgrid. We have shared this with our teachers, administrators and others within our school community too.
This is an easy and powerful activity as we celebrate our community and all of the different things we are thankful for this week and throughout the year.
