Hagan, like children everyone, is counting down the days to our summer starts.
It is a time for being outside riding bikes and playing ball. It is a time for spending time with friends and family. It is a time to explore. It is a time to visit special new places. It is a time to create, bake and build.
And as the summer reading theme in public libraries celebrates....
it is time to Get Set.....Read!
With this summer reading theme, everyone will celebrate by exploring sports, games and movement through art and science activities, movement, books and more!
I can't think of better books than all of the special books and songs from Cantata Learning to tie into this theme.
You can find them all here.
It will be so much fun to sing, dance, act and create to all of the Cantata books and songs. You can do this at home, outside, in the car, and so many other places throughout the summer.
I really love using eBooks for summer reading, because it gives our readers lots of choice, accessibility and flexibility. This is one of Hagan's favorite ways to read in the summer.
You can read all about the Cantata Learning eBooks and Capstone Interactive in this post.
Brianna and I created a special Pinterest board for Summer Reading Ideas and Resources to give you a little inspiration and creativity as you plan amazing summer reading experiences for your children and students.
This is another Pinterest Board created around the On Your Mark, Get Set, Read Summer Reading theme. I love all of the ideas and resources on this one too.
Hagan and I love finding unique places to read and share each summer. I can't wait to see where this one will take us.
And we can't wait to see where the Cantata Learning songs and stories take your readers too!
